Iraqi National Security Advisor: The Iran-Iraq railway line will be connected soon
The Iraqi National Security Adviser announced the imminent connection of the Iran-Iraq railway line through Shalamcheh.
"The railway line between Iran and Iraq will soon be connected via Shalamcheh," Iraqi National Security Adviser Qassim al-Araji, who recently came to Tehran with Mustafa al-Kazemi, was quoted as saying by Ain al-Iraq.
He also stressed the need for joint efforts to dredge the Arvand River to resume shipping on the river and protect Iraq's legal rights under the 1975 agreement.
Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi recently came to Iran with a high-level delegation and met with senior officials of our country.
